By Chris Genovese, the “Marketing Guy”

Trust me, we get it. Thinking about motorcycle crashes and how to deal with them is NOT fun at all! Riding, for the vast majority of us, is 110% recreation, and how we “get away from it all.” So thinking about what to do after a crash is usually not something that we do unless it happens to us or someone that we know.

However, being prepared for the worst, based on the risks that we face and the chaos that we sometimes encounter on our roads, is a very good thing. Because experts agree, and our experience has shown, what happens in those critical moments following a crash can have a big impact on the outcomes for all concerned.

It’s not about scaring anybody, or “preaching.” It’s about preparation, protecting your rights, and being able to help yourself, a friend, or another rider.

So we decided that we might be able to help a few interested riders by sharing “bite sized” pieces of information in a new video series about “What to do After a Motorcycle Crash” – with our social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram: @theKantorGulloLawFirm.

Check it out! You’ll see our attorney partners, Steve Kantor and Christina Gullo, as well as me, focusing on specific situations and challenges, with practical tips that you can remember if you’re involved in or encounter a motorcycle crash. Each video is about a minute or less in length, and we’re producing and releasing about one video (or reel) per week. Give us a like and follow to stay updated as our video series progresses.

We’re also happy to announce that Patrick from Blasdell (see below) was our first prize winner for our Gear Up! 2025 contest and the drawing that we had on Memorial Day. He selected a new leather riding jacket, a pair of riding jeans, and a new set of gloves as his prize – with a final value of about $800. Congratulations, Patrick! We hope you’ll enjoy your new riding gear and have great adventures and many safe and happy miles as you wear them!

Finally, please continue to be extra careful and aware of the ever-evolving challenges that we face as riders in 2025. At the time of writing, the local news is full of stories about really bad scooter crashes and a potential ban for the sale of ATVs in the City of Buffalo. Unfortunately, many of these scooters and E bikes are being used on our streets in a very unpredictable way, and by riders with little experience and even less safety gear. We also continue to see patterns of very aggressive and distracted driving, as law enforcement struggles to prioritize safety and reduce confrontations and chases that can end in disaster. Always remember that it never pays to engage with those driving aggressively or recklessly. Making it home safe, at the end of the day, is the only way to “win.”

God forbid, if you do happen to find yourself or a loved one in a motorcycle crash, call the Kantor Gullo Law Firm at 716-626-0404 or contact us via our website or direct message us on Facebook or Instagram. WE are the lawyers that have been focused on riders and building and winning their cases for over 25 years.
